If I should ever get married, I would like to do it in style. I would have four priests, a five meter long train, 18 fighter planes flying in formation, a three meter high wedding cake, 1200 guests (all royals, politicians and divinities) plus of course half a million or so of subje…er, people celebrating on the streets. My bridesmaids would all be little princesses, the king would make a speech, my diadem would have been a gift from Napoleon to Josephine and, as the guests partied on until the early hours, I would sneak out through a secret passage and fly off in a private jet. And yeah, my husband would be there too, or whatever.
Swedish royal wedding July 19, 2010. Now that’s what I’m talking about.

So here we are, Dreyfus and me, hanging out on youtube (seriously, check out the interior of that tv-studio, it’s mental), trying to figure out if there is any way I can argue that the phenomenological novel is anti-humanist. Neither youtube nor google offer any assistance, only opposition. But now I’m watching this and thinking maybe it doesn’t matter.
“Hegel is arguing that the reality is merely an a priori adjunct of non-naturalistic ethics, Kant via the categorical imperative is holding that ontologically it exists only in the imagination, and Marx is claiming it was offside.” Brilliant!
